Dr. Erica Perlman loves living and working in Big Sky and is proud to provide comprehensive eye care to the local community.

Dr. Perlman earned her undergraduate degree from Bates College in Maine before attending Boston University, where she received dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Medical Science. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, where she was recognized for her exceptional clinical skills. Her clinical training included rotations at several Veterans Administration medical centers, a community health clinic, and the California School for the Blind.

She is passionate about providing care both locally and beyond her community. She has traveled to Nicaragua on multiple medical missions to provide eye care to underserved populations. Closer to home, she volunteers annually with the Big Sky Rotary Club to organize and conduct vision screenings for students at Ophir, Discovery, and West Yellowstone Public Schools. She also serves on her local HOA board and participated in Leadership Big Sky in 2022.

Outside of the office, Dr. Perlman enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and their two dogs, Boston and Annie. She loves camping, running, reading, and enjoying all that life in Big Sky has to offer.
